Father's Day 2012

This year on Father's day we had a great day just hanging out as a family.  Curt is such a great daddy.  He deserves more than just one day to celebrate him as a father.  I love seeing Brooklyn and his relationship grow.  She loves him to death and I pray that they will always have such a close relationship.  When she is older and thinks that I'm stupid I hope she still looks up to him:)

2012 Dance Recital

This was Brooklyn's second dance recital and she LOVED it!  It was kind of a fight to get her to go to class each week.  Telling her that she had to practice for the stage was her motivation.  She loved dressing up and putting on makeup.
She did a great job up there!
After the recital Brooklyn got spoiled with flowers.
I was a sucker and bought her a trophy.  She had been talking about getting a trophy for a while..
Brooklyn's fans...
Sydney was also in the show.  She was adorable!
Great job Brookie!! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you!

Patriotic parade

It's been a tradition for many years to do a patriotic parade at the end of the preschool year.  I remember doing it when I was Brooklyn's age.  It was so fun to watch all the kiddos march around the playground to patriotic music and then say their pledge of allegiance.  They looked so cute!
Brooklyn had the best teachers! Thank you Miss Jan and Miss Jenni!!
We were very proud that Brooklyn's painting of the American flag got picked to be hung up.  The preschool director said she was so impressed by it because it was completely by memory.  Hers was the only painting that got "featured".  :)
So proud of you Brooklyn!!  I can't believe you're done with preschool!!
