Santa

Since Curt hates Santa we don't usually talk about him much at Christmas time and don't make it a point to go see him anywhere. Much to Curt's dismay Brooklyn loves Santa. So for fun we went to South Coast Plaza to see the big guy with the Jacobs. Brooklyn made it clear that she would not be sitting on his lap but would sit next to him for the picture. I was only allowed to take 3 pictures. With 4 kids that wasn't very easy, I did the best I could:)

Christmas Card Rejects

I really tried not to stress over getting the perfect Christmas card picture this year. I knew when you added another kid to the picture it just gets harder. I did the best I could and I think it turned out pretty good. I've found that the key to getting a good shot is to take a million pictures. At least one is bound to turn out:) Here are some rejects. Not all are horrible but definitely not card worthy.

2010 Christmas Pageant

Sunday was Brooklyn's first time being in the church Christmas pageant. She has been talking about being an angel for weeks and was SO excited. Kate was also an angel and Luke was a horse. The 3 cousins seemed to have a lot of fun on stage together and put on quite a show. I wasn't sure how Brooklyn would do once she saw all the people in the audience. I had no expectations. That way, I wouldn't be disappointed if she decided she would rather just sit with us and watch. Well, that definitely was not the case. She made sure that she did not go unnoticed. She put herself right up in front. A couple of times I was afraid she'd fall off the stage!
I was able to get a few good pictures. Although, I had some trouble with the focus.

All ready to go to church.

However, it didn't take long for her to inch her way to the front!


Kate did her best to keep Brookie and Luke in line. By the end she gave up.

Luke decided that being out in the front looked pretty fun, so he joined her.

I know I'm biased but isn't she just one of the cutest angels you've ever seen!?

When the audience applauded at the end, her response proved that she thought everyone was there just to see her:)

Dylan's 2 Months

Dylan is 2 months old!! Once again, time has flown by. He is still a very good, content baby. He only gets up one time a night around 2-3. He even went till 5:30 a couple of nights ago! He's as chunky as ever. He weighs 14lbs 10 oz! Still putting him above the 95th percentile. Some of the hair on the top of his head fell out and it's coming back brown. His eyes look blue at times but I think they'll be hazel or brown. I think he looks more and more like his daddy everyday. I love it!

Thanksgiving 2010

This year we had a great time celebrating Thanksgiving in the desert with Curt's side of the family. Although it was literally freezing we enjoyed our time there. Dylan did really good on his first camping trip. Brooklyn loved it. She did surprisingly well riding the quad. Curt sat on the back and only put his hands on the handles just in case she was going to hit something. She controlled the throttle and most of the steering.
